CareU Home and Health Care Pty Ltd (ABN 40 674 208 327), trading as CareU 居家乐, a brand of VHD HR Group. We provide bilingual home aged care in Sydney, Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane.
This notice covers this website only — www.careu.com.au. The way we handle your information once you become a client, including care records and government reporting, is set out in your service agreement.
When you send an enquiry. The form asks for the senior's name, a phone number, suburb, age, whether there is already a Support at Home or Home Care Package, residency status, and whether you would like help applying. Anything you type in the message box is collected too. You choose what to put in — only a name or a phone number is required so we can call you back.
If you accept the cookie notice. One cookie holding a random string such as 7f3a91c2…. It is not your name and is not linked to one. With it we record which pages were opened, which buttons and phone numbers were clicked, and which website you arrived from. If you decline, none of this is collected and no cookie is written.
Always. Our server keeps a one-way scrambled version of your IP address so we can stop someone flooding the enquiry form. The address itself is not stored and cannot be recovered from it.
We do not use advertising or social-media tracking pixels. We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not send your details to any third party for their own marketing.
We do not collect health information through this website. Please do not type medical details into the enquiry form — tell us on the phone instead.
Enquiry details are used to call you back, to answer your question, and — if you ask us to — to help you apply for government funding. Nothing more.
The anonymous website statistics are used to work out which pages help families and which are confusing, so we can rewrite them.
Your enquiry is emailed to us through FormSubmit, a form-delivery service, and stored on our own server in Sydney. Both hold it only to deliver it to us.
Our server is hosted with DigitalOcean in Sydney, Australia. Your information stays in Australia.
We disclose information otherwise only where the law requires it.
Enquiries are kept for as long as we may reasonably need to follow up, and then removed. If you do not become a client, tell us and we will delete your enquiry straight away.
Anonymous website statistics are kept for up to 24 months.
The cookie, if you accept it, lasts 12 months. You can clear it at any time in your browser, or by using the button at the bottom of this page.
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. There is no charge and we will respond within 30 days.
